My educational journey includes attending Pierce Community College and undergoing specialized training through the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Mental Health Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services.

Furthermore, I have proudly served as a NC Certified Peer Support Specialist for 9 years, focusing on providing Peer Support Services to adults aged eighteen and older grappling with mental illness or substance use disorder. These services, deeply rooted in community support, are designed to address the unique needs of individuals facing these challenges.
